This explains what Shopping on Long Island (run by Elite Nexus AI) collects and how it is used. We do not sell personal information.
What we collect
- Forms you send: your name, email, phone, business and message when you ask about a storefront, leasing, screen ads or a website.
- Purchases: Stripe processes all payments. We receive your email, phone, business name and subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
- Merchant accounts: your email, business details and the storefront content you submit, plus a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in.
- AI host chats: questions typed or spoken to a shop host are sent to our AI provider to produce an answer. We do not store the conversation; we keep only daily usage counts.
- Ad screen views: anonymous counts of how often each ad was shown on screen. No personal data is attached.
- Basic logs: our hosting provider records standard request data (such as IP address and browser) for security and reliability.
Who helps us run the site
Cloudflare (hosting, database, AI), Stripe (payments), OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap (map tiles and data), OSRM (driving routes between places) and Google Fonts (typefaces). Your browser connects to some of these services directly when a page loads.
How we use it
To answer you, set up and run your storefront, bill your plan, prevent abuse and improve the service. We will email you about your account and, if you asked about our services, follow up about them. You can tell us to stop at any time.
Keeping and deleting
We keep lead and account information while it is useful for the purpose above and as required for tax and accounting. Ask us and we will delete or correct your information unless we must keep it by law.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
